The  AWI-Lab is used by faculty and staff of the Alfred Weber Institute primarily to conduct behavioral experiments. Advanced Bachelor and Master students may also conduct lab experiments under supervision of their instructor.

The lab includes 20 networked PC workstations, with Z-Tree and Antivirus software installed. The Z-tree clients can be centrally managed from the server at the experimenter’s desk.

Students who have registered online will receive advance notification of upcoming experiments by email and are generally financially compensated for their participation. Both students and experimenters agree to follow the lab rules and abide by the privacy policy.
